Abstract
En febrero de 2026, el IPEC se situó en 298, lo que equivale a una reducción de 91 puntos frente a enero de 2026 (389) y a un aumento de 3 puntos frente al registro de febrero de 2025 (295). Durante este mes, las noticias en medios de comunicación capturadas por el IPEC se concentraron principalmente en el tema de política económica, social y geopolítica (44,9%), seguido de actividad económica (18,4%), otros (16,3%), seguridad (12,2%) y variables financieras (8,2%).
Abstract
In February 2026, the IPEC stood at 298, which is equivalent to a decrease of 91 points relative to January 2026 (389) and an increase of 3 points relative to February 2025 (295). During this month, the news items captured by the IPEC were concentrated mainly in economic, social, and geopolitical policy (44.9%), followed by economic activity (18.4%), other topics (16.3%), security (12.2%) and financial variables (8.2%).
