"This paper analyzes the effects of these fluctuations in import policy on production and price formation in Colombian manufacturing sector. It is dividing in five parts, the first of witch is the introduction. The second part reviews very briefly the history of import policies in the 1970s and 1980s. the third presents a simple model of imperfect competition which captures the quantity and price effects of these policies."
