dc.description	This paper exposes the recent economic trends, showing that Fedesarrollo s initial projection of economic for 1996, and before the political situation deteriorated in late January. The new events in the political front, and their possible effects on economic performance led us at the time to revise our economic projections, which are implied in the political crisis.
