Abstract
Para hacer realidad su potencial exportador lechero, el país debe crear los mecanismos financieros y de apoyo que soporten las transformaciones productivas y comerciales que ello demanda. El presente estudio tiene como objetivo la evaluación de algunos mecanismos de estabilización y promoción de las exportaciones colombianas de leche. El estudio encuentra que los Fondos propuestos son mecanismos idóneos para apalancar las exportaciones. Para ello es necesario que el precio de referencia (PCE) esté asociado a las cotizaciones internacionales, que la producción nacional crezca en más del 15 por ciento y que el Gobierno Nacional dé su apoyo inicial a los Fondos.
Abstract
To develop the milk export potential the country must create the financial mechanisms and the supports to hold the commercial and productive transformations that it demands. The main object of the present study is the evaluation of some stabilization and promotion mechanisms of the colombian milk exports. The study finds that the proposed funds are appropriate mechanisms to lever up the exports. To achieve this it is necesary to ensure that the reference price (PCE) is directly related with the international prices, that the national production grows more than 15 per cent and that the National Government provides the initial support to the Funds.
