Abstract
En diciembre, el Índice de Confianza Industrial aumentó con respecto al mismo mes del año anterior y se ubicó en el nivel más alto para ese mes desde 2011. Al ajustar la serie por factores estacionales, el índice mostró una recuperación tras dos meses consecutivos de descenso. En el cuarto trimestre de 2015, las expectativas de empleo en la industria se redujeron con respecto al trimestre anterior, pero se ubicaron en un nivel superior al del mismo periodo de 2014. Por otra parte, la percepción de los empresarios sobre la presencia de contrabando en la industria mostró un ligero deterioro frente al tercer trimestre, pero se mantiene en un nivel favorable con respecto al cuarto trimestre de 2014. Finalmente, en diciembre, el Índice de Confianza Comercial aumentó frente a noviembre y con relación al mismo mes del año anterior y se ubicó en el nivel más alto desde agosto de 2014.
Abstract
In December, the Industrial Confidence Index increases over the same month last year and reached the highest level for that month since 2011. By adjusting the series by seasonal factors, the index showed a recovery after two consecutive months of decline. In the fourth quarter of 2015, employment expectations in the industry decreased compared to the previous quarter, but stood at higher levels than the same period of 2014. On the other hand level, the perception of entrepreneurs about the presence of contraband in the industry showed a slight decline from the third quarter, but remains at a favorable level compared to the fourth quarter of 2014. Finally, in December, the Retail Confidence Index increased compared to November and compared with the same month last year and stood at the highest level since August 2014.
