Abstract
En marzo, el Índice de Confianza Industrial presentó un leve aumento respecto al mismo mes del año anterior y se ubicó en el nivel más alto para ese mes desde 2012. No obstante, la serie ajustada por factores estacionales mostró un deterioro frente a febrero. La percepción de los empresarios sobre la presencia de contrabando en la industria mostró una notable mejoría frente al trimestre anterior y con respecto al primer trimestre de 2015. Por otra parte, el Índice de Confianza Comercial aumentó levemente frente a febrero y con relación al mismo mes del año anterior y se ubicó en el nivel más alto desde agosto de 2014.
Abstract
In March, the Industrial Confidence Index showed a slight increase over the same month last year and reached the highest level for that month since 2012. However, the seasonally adjusted series showed a decline compared to February. The perception of entrepreneurs about the presence of contraband in the industry showed a marked improvement from the previous quarter and compared to the first quarter of 2015. Moreover, the Retail Confidence Index increased slightly compared to February and the same month the previous year and stood at the highest level since August 2014.
