Abstract
En agosto, tanto el Índice de Confianza Comercial como el Índice de Confianza Industrial aumentaron respecto a julio, aunque se mantuvieron en niveles inferiores a los del mismo mes del año anterior. La percepción de los empresarios acerca de las condiciones económicas y sociopolíticas para invertir en la industria también fue inferior a la de un año atrás, pero mejoró frente al trimestre anterior. Por su parte, la percepción de los empresarios del sector de la construcción acerca de la actividad constructora en el tercer trimestre del año mostró un deterioro frente a la medición anterior y con relación al mismo período de 2016.
Abstract
In August, both the Retail Confidence Index and the Industrial Confidence Index increased compared to July, although they remained at levels lower than those of the same month of the previous year. Entrepreneurs' perception of economic and socio-political conditions for investing in the industry was also lower than a year ago, but improved compared to the previous quarter. On the other hand, the construction sector's perception of construction activity in the third quarter of the year showed a deterioration compared to the previous measurement and in relation to the same period of 2016.
