Abstract
A program is proposed to finance the reduction of risk for ESCO investors in energy efficiency (EE) totaling US$100 million to be developed over 5 years through a catalytic Blended Finance Fund (NDC-BFF). The program will contribute to achieving Colombia's NDC targets with a model that addresses bottlenecks and market failures in EE financing. The project primarily targets the commerce, manufacturing, tourism, and housing sectors. It is expected that the project will achieve an annual reduction of 1 million tons of CO2eq per year during the period 2025-2030.
