Abstract

Funding is proposed for a program of transformative interventions in High Deforestation Areas (NAD) in Colombia, totaling US$160 million to be developed over 5 years. The components of the program will contribute to achieving Colombia's NDC goals with viable and sustainable economic models. The project targets approximately 5,400 households (10%) engaged in agricultural activities across 40 municipalities located in high deforestation areas in Colombia. The project is expected to achieve an annual reduction of 5 million tons of CO2eq per year during the period from 2025 to 2030.
