Resumen
The united States has the largest and most efficient capital market in the Word. U.S. institutional investrors have played an important role in the growth and development of the capital markets. The growth of institutional investors as the dominant players in the U.S. capital market also has had important implications for the regulatory enviroment. Consequently, U.S. securities regulations recognize that sophisticated institutional investors normally require less protection than individual investors.
